mechanochat.plotting.plot_grid(x_grid, y_grid, ax=None)[source]#

Draw the grid lines returned by tl.cell2grid as a dotted overlay.

Parameters:

x_grid (ndarray) – Grid line coordinates from tl.cell2grid
y_grid (ndarray) – Grid line coordinates from tl.cell2grid
ax (Axes, optional) – Target matplotlib axes object. Creates new figure if None

Returns:

ax (Axes)
